Caesar Winslow, 18, is the charismatic leader of his crew. Unlike his friends, he has a chance to leave Brooklyn and attend a prestigious university. But he's got big problems. His girlfriend dumped him, and guys in the neighborhood are already lining up to take his crown. Torn by his desire to experience a new world and fear of leaving the only world he's ever known, Caesar has 72 hours to steel himself.

Description

When five year old Marni lost her mother, she was devastated, but thankfully her BFF, Gemma, was always by her side. Ten years later, Marni's ecstatic that her mother’s favorite poet will be teaching at an distinguished Arts Magnet School. Gemma gets accepted, however Marni's father has neglectfully missed the registration deadline and the school now only has seats left for "diverse" candidates. Realizing that her dreams may disappear, Gemma convinces Marni to do something drastic. Things go awry, but the girls learn a valuable lesson about race, politics and friendship in this poignant, yet tender, 'coming of age' comedy.

Description

Roman (Joseph) has asked flight attendant girlfriend Nina Thomas (Calhoun) for her hand in marriage twelve times in their twelve -year relationship. Each time she has rejected his offer. Frustrated with the lack of progression in their lives, he decides to give a final ultimatum to be wed, and accept whatever she decides, but vows to never ask again. Afraid that she may lose him, Nina finally accepts his proposal. Nina's best friend Tammy rants that she is making the biggest mistake of her life, especially since Roman is the only guy Nina has been intimate with. Tammy suggests that Nina have a little fun and experience another man before she gets married. Nina mocks the idea, but the fun and games spiral into reality when she meets the handsome Quincy (White) while working in Los Angeles. A routine layover spins into a night full of adventure, passion, hard decisions and discovery.

Description

STEPS is the beautiful dramatic story about the shortcomings of a man whom after being robbed and shot fourteen years earlier, succumbs to a life of addiction and ultimately loses the love of his life and the gift of knowing his only child. After meeting a local pastor, Brian is forced to confront his alcohol addiction.
