Artist Spotlight - Elán Varner

Emerging singer/songwriter/musician, Elán Varner, can be found performing at music venues in and around New York and New Jersey.  The nineteen-year old vocalist/guitarist/pianist defines her sound as acoustic soul, a blend of gospel, jazz, singer/songwriter, and rhythm and blues.

Artist Spotlight - Old Man Saxon

Old Man Saxon is a Colorado born rapper that moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue becoming the greatest entertainer ever. Old Man Saxon spent 2014 living out of his car while pursuing his rap career. He slept in the backseat of his Ford Explorer, showered at gyms, ate Happy Meals twice a day, and worked nights at a restaurant to keep money in his pocket. Every night, he wrote lyrics to keep his mind off the daily struggles. Over the course of the year, he wrote hundreds of songs, recorded about 30, and selected four songs that best captured the year—a defining moment in his life and career—for his new album, The Perils.

Artist Spotlight - Josh Dean

Josh Dean is the Alabama-native art director turned singer/songwriter, who was groomed under the tutelage of Janelle Monáe. After working with multi-Grammy award winning Bryan-Michael Cox, photographer Derek Blanks and singer/songwriter/producer Maejor, Josh Dean caught his biggest break when recording artist Jidenna enlisted his vocals for chart-topping record Classic Man, which was nominated for the 2015 Grammy’s best rap/song collaboration category and featured in the Oscar winning film Moonlight. This fall, Josh Dean releases his debut album Dear BlackSheepe, a striking variety of Pop, Soul and Country music, sharing his unfamiliar story with the world.
