Aaron Woodley director of Tennessee

Jim Dziura was born in Southern California to Romani gypsy parents who instilled in him, from an early age, a sense of wanderlust that continues to take him around the world.

He has a style of filmmaking that has been described as “in-the-pocket,” and he favors underdogs and outcasts as subjects.

Jim and a friend are currently hopping freight trains, with camera gear strapped to their backs, for their personal project STEEL DON‘T BEND.

Number One With A Bullet

Directed by Jim Dziura

Synopsis

Many of today's biggest rap stars have something in common besides successful careers: they've all been shot and have lived to rap about it. Their tales of gunplay, their reactions to the violence, and their changed attitudes after having survived near-death experiences are varied and always compelling.

NUMBER ONE WITH A BULLET takes the viewer deep into the psyche of these incredibly talented artists, who share a common thread: the permanent physical scars from the bullets that almost took them out and the corresponding emotional scars that affect them in profound and personal ways.
