Description

Jae and Jess are from Brooklyn and have been friends since the 5th grade when their weirdness brought them together. Jae, who is now 13 years old, is awkwardly making his way through adolescence, and feeling the weight of being understood. He meets the new girl Elisa who appears to stir up the friendship. Jae is confused by Jess and what she is going through until she speaks her truth.

Description

A Moving IMAGE is a multimedia feature film about Gentrification in Brixton, incorporating fiction, documentary and performance art. We follow Nina, a young stifled artist, as she returns to her community after a long absence - she is soon painted as a symbol of gentrification. As she struggles with her own complicity, we follow her mission to create a piece of art that can bring her community together. On her journey we speak to real people affected by Gentrification in Brixton, blurring the line between reality and fiction.

Description

Description

When five year old Marni lost her mother, she was devastated, but thankfully her BFF, Gemma, was always by her side. Gemma gets accepted, however Marni's father has neglectfully missed the registration deadline and the school now only has seats left for "diverse" candidates. Realizing that her dreams may disappear, Gemma convinces Marni to do something drastic. Things go awry, but the girls learn a valuable lesson about race, politics and friendship in this poignant, yet tender, 'coming of age' comedy.
