Feathers

SYNOPSIS

Elizier, an emotionally-dejected new enrollee at The Edward R. Mill School for Lost Boys, must overcome memories of a tragic past and the present hazing by his peers in order to tackle larger issues dominating his young life.

Director’s Biography

A.V. ROCKWELL is an award-winning filmmaker from New York City. Rockwell studied filmmaking at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, later receiving fellowships from Tribeca Film Institute, Sundance Institute and the Guggenheim Foundation.
Fox Searchlight acquired her short film Feathers ahead of its premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. Previous shorts films include The Gospel (2016), B.L.B. (2014), and KIDS (2013). Most recently, Rockwell participated in the 2019 Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Labs.
