Curtis scrubs blood from the kitchen tile. Over him stands the ghost of Denise. She ruthlessly chastises him, telling him that he will be arrested for her murder. In the bathroom her body lies. Curtis puts it into his pickup truck. They argue all the way to a dark and forested area. There, Curtis buries her. Only upon leaving her body and returning to his vehicle is he truly faced with the guilt of her murder. This is when he is hit by a car. In the end, both Curtis and Denise end up murdered and buried in the woods.
