Head of Television, Will Packer Productions

Korin D. Huggins is Head of Television for Will Packer Productions. In this position, she is responsible for developing comedy and drama projects through the company’s first look deal with Universal Television. Huggins is a Co-Executive Producer for the 2016 Emmy® nominated Roots, a remake of the 1977 miniseries that is one of the most celebrated TV programs of all time. Most recently, she was Co-Executive Producer for the ABC sitcom Uncle Buck starring Mike Epps and Nia Long and NBC’s Truth Be Told starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Huggins will also oversee the BET series Being Mary Jane starring Gabrielle Union that will air in late 2016. Prior to joining the company, Huggins served as Director of Drama Development at Warner Bros. Television Studios, where she developed and sold projects to the five major broadcast networks.

Executive Director, ARRAY

Tilane Jones is the Executive Director of ARRAY, a film distribution collaborative focused on filmmakers of color and women. ARRAY has distributed thirteen feature films since 2011 including Ava DuVernay's award winning MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, Andrew Dosunmu's RESTLESS CITY, Storm Saulter's BETTER MUS' COME, Neil Drummings' BIG WORDS, and Haile Gerima's ASHES AND EMBERS. Jones is also Manager of Production for Forward Movement, serving as a producer on all of the company’s visual product. Her film credits include: Ava DuVernay's MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, THIS IS THE LIFE, I WILL FOLLOW, 828 PROJECT and SELMA. Acclaimed fashion and beauty films for Prada and Fashion Fair with THE DOOR and SAY YES, respectively. Her television credits include: BET's Black Girls Rock, My Mic Sounds Nice, along with John Legend Interludes Live, Essence Music Festival 2010, and ESPN Films' Venus Vs.

Fox Audience Strategy

Gina Reyes started her career in Hollywood at International Creative Management talent agency in the Motion Picture Production department. After ICM, she had the opportunity to work with Salma Hayek at her newly formed production company, Ventanazul, where Ms. Hayek had a film development deal with MGM. At Ventanzul, Gina sought out intellectual property for potential film development and also had exposure to the television space in working with Ms. Hayek’s TV production company, Ventanarosa, where she had an overall deal with ABC Studios. After four years at Ventanazul, Gina landed at 20th Century Fox Film as a Creative Executive in film development and recently made the move to the Audience Strategy group at Fox Broadcasting Company where she manages all creative efforts including the Fox Writers Intensive and the Fox Global Directors Initiative. 


CEO, Cortés Films

Lisa Cortés was the Executive Producer of the Academy Award and Sundance winning film, Precious. Her films (Shadowboxer, The Woodsman, Kwaku Ananse, Happy Birthday To A Beautiful Woman) have received over 70 international awards and nominations. She co-directed and produced the documentary, Imagine A Future.  Her most recent productions include Double Play, a film directed by Ernest Dickerson and The Tale of Four, directed by Gabourey Sidibe.  Prior to her film career, Cortés was one of the driving forces behind the launch of Def Jam Records. She was Vice President of Artists and Repertoire at Mercury Records, where she discovered  and produced albums with many multi-platinum and Grammy Award winning artists. Cortés also founded and served as President of Loose Cannon Records, a subsidiary of Polygram Records.

Partner, Entertainment Group, Frankfurt Kurnit Klein+Selz

Lisa Davis is a partner in the entertainment group representing businesses and celebrities in the film, television, publishing, music, theatre, and sports industries.  She advises on a full range of transactional matters – focusing on independent films (both narrative and documentary), unscripted television production, live stage and branded entertainment.  She has served as counsel on such documentary films as Black Panther, Free Angela, and The Black List, and narrative features such as classic Spike Lee films Malcolm X, and Jungle Fever.  Lisa is the Board Chair for the Urbanworld Film Festival Foundation.

Director of Independent Film, Tugg

Felicia Pride is an entertainment professional with more than fifteen years of experience. She's currently the Director of Independent Film at Tugg, a distribution platform. Prior, she collaborated on media projects, specializing in audience development for films like Slavery by Another Name, Middle of Nowhere, and Alice Walker: Beauty in Truth and has worked with organizations like Participant Media, PBS, and NPR.  As a creator, Felicia wrote and produced the short film The End Again and has written a narrative feature currently in development. She's a co-producer on the documentary Souls of Black Girls Too! and is the author of seven books including the essay collection The Message: 100 Life Lessons from Hip-Hop’s Greatest Songs.



SVP, Development & Production, MACRO

Poppy Hanks is SVP of Development & Production at MACRO and manages the company’s multiple film and television projects. Most recently, she was an executive producer on Sundance Film Festival’s 2016 Next selection The Land, released by IFC Films in July 2016. Hanks is also co-executive producer of the upcoming Paramount film Fences, directed by and starring Denzel Washington. Hanks is also executive producer of Mudbound, directed by Dee Rees, starring Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke, Mary J. Blige, Rob Morgan, Jason Mitchell, Garrett Hedlund and Jonathan Banks. The veteran filmmaker has worked with a wide range of prolific writers and directors throughout her 20 year career. Previously, Hanks was Senior Vice President of Production for Tyler Perry’s 34th Street Films. 

Director, Content & Artist Development, Time Warner Inc.

As Director, Content & Artist Development for Time Warner Inc., Tamir Muhammad is responsible for a new digital initiative that creates meaningful ways for today’s content creators to further engage Time Warner’s divisions (Warner Bros., HBO, and Turner Broadcasting) with the company’s longstanding focus on the development of the next generation of storytellers.  Prior to joining Time Warner Inc., Tamir was the VP, Content Development for Tribeca Enterprise's Digital Studios overseeing the development of content ideas for production and distribution.  Tamir also served as the VP, Film, TV, and Online Programming for several years at the Tribeca Film Institute, where he oversaw funding and development of projects by established and emerging filmmakers.  

SVP, HBO Films

Maria is SVP HBO Films, where she is responsible for overseeing the development and production of original movies for the network.  She recently worked on Looking: The Movie, the feature-length conclusion to the acclaimed HBO series of the same name.  Additionally, she recently worked on the award winning HBO Films Bessie, about legendary Blues singer Bessie Smith, starring Queen Latifah.  In 2013, she oversaw Stephen Frears’ Emmy nominated film Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight, the one-man-show Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth directed by Spike Lee, and Mary and Martha, starring Oscar winner Hilary Swank.  Emmy and Golden Globe winner Grey Gardens is also among her acclaimed film credits.



Co-Executive Vice President, Magnolia Pictures

Dori Begley currently serves as Co-Executive Vice President of Magnolia Pictures.  After joining the Company as Director of Acquisitions in 2007, she served as SVP of Acquisitions from 2011 through 2016. Begley’s purview now includes domestic sales for the 15-year-old distributor’s growing library along with development of new distribution initiatives for alternative content and continued involvement in acquiring titles for Magnet Releasing, Magnolia Home Entertainment and Magnolia International.  Recent releases include Sean Baker’s Tangerine, Crystal Moselle’s The Wolfpack, Albert Maysles’ Iris, to name a few.  Begley began her career with Sony Pictures Classics in 2000 where she acted as the Manager of Acquisitions through 2006 working on an eclectic, prestigious slate of award winning titles from renowned filmmakers around the world.

SVP, HBO Documentary Films

Jacqueline Glover is SVP, HBO Documentary Films, for Home Box Office, responsible for overseeing the development and production of documentary films. Most recently, Glover served as supervising producer for the Oscar winning documentary short Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1. Other recent projects include the Academy Award® nominated short Redemption; the Emmy Award nominated Gloria: In Her Own Words; the Peabody Award-winning If God Is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise from Spike Lee; the Academy Award nominated films China’s Unnatural Disaster: The Tears of Sichuan Province and The Witness: From the Balcony of Room 306; the Emmy Award-winning Teddy: In His Own Words; as well as the high-profile documentary A Family Is A Family Is A Family: A Rosie O’Donnell Celebration. 

SVP, Content Acquisitions, RLJ Entertainment & Urban Movie Channel

Angela currently oversees the acquisition of content for the company’s urban division, as well General Manager of the company’s own proprietary subscription VOD platform UMC - Urban Movie Channel (www.UrbanMovieChannel.com), launched by RLJ Chairman and BET founder Robert L. Johnson.  The subscription channel specializes in video on demand content for African American and urban audiences.   Angela joined RLJE from REVOLT TV, the music network founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs, which launched in the fall of 2013, introducing music-oriented content to REVOLT’s audience of young adults.  There, she served as VP of Content Licensing & Acquisitions. Prior to REVOLT, Northington held previous positions at Codeblack Entertainment, Simmons Lathan Media Group, and Urban Entertainment (Time Warner).

Associate Professor, NYU / Sr. Consultant, News & Docs, BET Networks

Jason is an associate professor of journalism at NYU, and an Emmy Award-winning network news and documentary producer. He currently serves as a senior consultant at BET in charge of news and documentaries. At BET Jason has led the development of the award-winning “Truth” documentary series, which has produced original films on the Black Lives Matter movement, Muhammad Ali, Hurricane Katrina and the O.J. Simpson trial. Jason joined BET in 2015 after working as a senior segment producer with the HBO news magazine Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. Before HBO, Jason spent three years with the CNN documentary unit where he wrote and produced the primetime documentaries: Obama Revealed: The Man, The President, Silicon Valley: The New Promise Land and Unwelcome: The Muslims Next Door. 



EVP & Head of Original Programming, BET Networks

Zola Mashariki is currently Executive Vice President and Head of Original Programming at BET Networks, where she oversees original programming for both BET and CENTRIC Networks.  Prior to BET Networks, Zola spent 15 years at Fox Searchlight Pictures as Senior Vice President of Production.  Ms. Mashariki has been responsible for a number of feature films, including The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (and its sequel), Never Let Me Go, The Last King of Scotland, The Secret Life of Bees, The Savages, The Namesake, In America, Antwone Fisher, and Brown Sugar.  She received the Achievement award from the African-American Film Critics Association, the Mosaic Woman Trailblazer award, and she is also on Ebony magazine’s  “Power 100” list.

BET Networks

Robi Reed’s career has spanned over 30 years with more than 50 films to her credit, including Soul Food, The Best Man, and Set It Off. Reed’s first studio film came with Spike Lee’s School Daze, followed by Jungle Fever, breaking out two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Samuel L. Jackson and Halle Berry.  Reed’s Television credits include Oprah Winfrey’s Their Eyes Were Watching God, In Living Color, A Different World and Roc. She cast Beyoncé Knowles in her first acting roles in MTV’s Carmen and Paramount Pictures’ The Fighting Temptations. Reed joined BET Networks as VP of Talent and Casting for Original Programming, where she oversees all scripted and non-scripted shows for the network, including The New Edition Story and the successful series Being Mary Jane. 

VP, Writer's Guild of America East / Award-Winning Writer

Jeremy Pikser is the co-writer of the film Bulworth, for which he won the LA Critics Award, as well as Oscar, Golden Globe and Writer’s Guild nominations for best screenplay.  War, Inc., a satire about US policy in the Middle East, which he wrote with Mark Leyner and John Cusack, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008. He is currently writing John Doe 4 with Ian Grody for Madbrook Development, and recently completed a comedy Me 2 with Mark Leyner. Currently, he is Vice President of the Writer’s Guild of America East, and teacher of graduate screenwriting at Johns Hopkins University.  He taught a screenwriting workshop at NYU from 1999 to 2012 and has regularly served as a creative advisor to the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab, and the Laboratorio de Guionistas in Mexico. 



Vice Chairman, REVOLT

Andre Harrell serves as Vice Chairman of REVOLT Media & TV. An entertainment powerhouse with credentials spanning film, television, music and branding, Harrell has helped influence and create urban and millennial culture around the world. In this role, Harrell oversees the REVOLT Music Conference (RMC), which welcomed 70 speakers and hosted 800 attendees during October 2015 in Miami Beach, FL.  For four decades, Harrell has been one of the leading entertainment entre-preneurs and cultural ambassadors of our time – as a member of the early 80s pioneer rap duo Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde; a film and television producer; founder of Uptown Records; Chairman of Motown Records; and founder of Nu America advertising agency. 

SVP, Production & Development, REVOLT FILMS

Sarah Snedeker oversees production and development for REVOLT FILMS, a Sean Combs Company. REVOLT FILMS, based primarily in Los Angeles, is a multi-faceted production company specializing in developing, producing, and financing films and original television content. Past credits include the critically acclaimed documentary, Undefeated, which won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2012; Dope, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at The Sundance Film Festival; and Lawless, which was nominated for Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival and won the Hollywood Film Awards. Sarah is currently overseeing six feature film projects and three TV programs that are in various stages of development.

Film & TV Director

Bille's distinct searing visuals have earned him a special place in the industry.  Known for his high-quality style and heartfelt storytelling, he has directed some of the most memorable videos for artists such as Lil’ Wayne, Enrique Iglesias Britney Spears, Celine Dion, R. Kelly, Nas, among many others.  Bille's foray into feature films was Universal Pictures' Honey, starring Jessica Alba and Mekhi Phifer. He has also directed hit films like Beauty Shop, Addicted, & the Perfect Match. His television directing credits include over 10 episodes of the series The Game, the VH1 two-hour backdoor pilot, Drumline: A New Beat, the sequel to the hit film, Drumline & episodes of the new hit VH-1series, Hit The Floor.
