DJ mOma is always ahead of the curve, always on point musically, and always moving the crowd. Raised in Queens NY, Sudanese-born mOma, his sets consist of an agile blend of hip­hop, dancehall, afrobeats, soca, baile funk, soul, r&b, disco, house, international sounds and underground dance grooves all mixed with an equal share of classic jams, rare gems, and modern-day dance floor bangers. He enjoys DJ residencies in NYC, Miami, and LA, and has headlined events in London, Berlin, Stockholm, Paris, Lagos, Johannesburg, Dakar, Zanzibar and Nairobi among several other places.  You can catch mOma at his wildly successful Everyday People party.

TEMI ONI (Featured Artist — UW Music Video Category)

Nigerian-American, Baltimore-based artist, Temi Oni, is a singer, songwriter, and multimedia creative.  Raised in a household filled with a myriad of sounds from Fela Kuti to Celine Dion, Oni grew up in Delaware and was interested in the art of songwriting, aiming for the versatility, creativity and confidence she heard in artists such as Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Lauryn Hill and more.  After many years behind the scenes, honing her craft, Oni debuted her first single in 2018, “Pull Up On You,” featuring Philly’s latest star, Tierra Whack. Her second single “BGM” was released earlier this year, followed by a debut video that would peg her as an “artist to watch” according to okayafrica, and indeed, she’s just getting started. Expect her debut EP soon.

PRINCESA ALBA (Featured Artist — UW Music Video Category)

Princesa Alba is a 22-year-old Chilean pop singer who burst onto the music scene with the release of her first single Mi Only One in 2017, becoming a viral phenomenon for months. Today, Princess Alba, has an E.P. called Del Cielo Mixtape and recent singles including “Convéncete” and “Hacerte Mal” with Francisco Victoria’s musical production.

DEVIN TRACY

Moving to New York City 7 years ago to pursue his career in music, Devin has been performing all over the city at places like Bitter End, Pianos, Bowery Electric, and S.O.B.'s.  He’s toured overseas in Europe to places like Berlin & Barcelona with a collective by the name of “In Good Company,” as well as touring with SOULECTION during their North American Tour. Devin performed earlier this year in LA alongside artists including Ella Mai, Snoh Allegra and Godlink. With his captivating vocals, androgynous tone over boom bap beats, and neo Soul sweet and spicy vibe, Devin is a breath of fresh air and an exciting upcoming artist to watch.

GAB SOUL

Born and bred in New York, GabSoul is a Caribbean-American DJ, writer, and curator best known for her soulful energy and eclectic sound selections. She has created soundscapes for AFROPUNK Fest, MoMA PS1’s Warm Up Series, Brooklyn Museum, Lincoln Center, her former radio show “Ladies Night” on Radio 103.9FM, and beyond; and is currently a music programming consultant for Youtube Music overseeing Caribbean music and Afrobeats. When she isn’t performing and blazing the turntables at the various events throughout her creative communities, she’s producing her own. Her vibe series, Solful Sessions (@solfulsessions), offers a platform and safe spaces for light-beings and free spirits to share high-vibrational experiences through music. GabSoul uses all of her curations as vessels to spread love, mindfulness and positive energy; and to encourage people to walk tall in their truth and connect with their highest self.

MILHOUSE

As a Queens, New York native Milhouse is an up and coming DJ, but is no stranger to the music scene. During his college years at Hampton University he established himself as the go to DJ at local house parties by playing tunes off of his iPod for his college friends. It was clear after many nights of playing music for hours, being a DJ was not only his passion but a career that would launch him to new heights.

Fast forward to today, he has worked for world renowned brands such as Nike, Jordan, Everyday Ppl and Dreamville. Including some of NYC’s most popular venues. He has refined his craft as a multi-genre DJ and continues to break down barriers by gaining vast experience through some of the city's most elite events.

XAVIER BLK

XAVIER BLK uses his eclectic New York and Caribbean roots to fire up dance floors. Since his move to Atlanta in 2010 he has served as a vanguard to new alternative, DIY nightlife landscape. Year after year he has organized high energy underground parties showing a consistent ability to build audiences in raw organic spaces. Xavier has developed a distinct sound that pairs familiar 808 bounce with uptempo bass, tribal beats, and R&B melodies. His unique mixing style was featured live during a set on Sirius XM’s, Sway in The Morning Show. Xavier also serves as co-founder of WERC Crew.

DJ JIGÜE

DJ Jigüe is a Cuban DJ and producer who got his start in music as part of the island's Hip-Hop scene in the '90s. Initially a rapper, he transitioned to production in search of more beats for himself. Over the past two decades, Jigüe has carved out a space in electronic experimentation, spinning new sonic tales with the riches of Cuba's musical heritage.

 

MISS MILAN

Making a career out of a passion; A woman in charge and making it happen in New York City is none other than the enigmatic DJ Miss Milan. From humble beginnings of practicing on equipment in her family basement, all the way to touching festival stages worldwide; she is proving to be one of the hardest-working, vibrant, skilled DJs on the scene.

Miss Milan is definitely one of the crowds’ favorite with her music selection which ranges in eclectic sounds from all different genres. Mentored by legends such as DJ Mister Cee, Miss Milan has done her homework and is making her mark. Her empowered voice on the mic and entrancing presence on stage is what makes her one of the best DJs in present time. Within the four years she’s been professionally performing, publications that include “Billboard” & “Paper Magazine” have taken notice to the distinctive vibes she is providing; lending to her affectionate pseudonym, “The Fairy Vibemother”. Miss Milan has consistently worked with some of the most elite brands and labels in the industry, in addition to being an essential teammate to the Platinum selling rap star Saweetie as her official tenured performance DJ. After recently finishing up the European segment of their tour, then onto opening up stateside for superstar Cardi B, Miss Milan’s trajectory is infinitely upward. She’s just getting started so stay tuned…….
